NAVAJO HORSE TRAILS

GUIDED HIKES IN NAVAJOLAND

Walk forgotten paths of ancient people, gain insight on Navajo culture from knowledgeable native guides. HUALAPAI GRAND CANYON RAFTING

The only 1 day RIVER RAFTING trip in the Grand Canyon is operated by Hualapai Indian River Guides. This trip has exciting yet moderate rapids, a HIKE to picturesque Travertine Falls, and a unique cultural history lesson from the native guides. Options to stay at Hualapai Lodge, and to visit Eagle Point, home of the Hualapai tribe's glass Skywalk with amazing views from out over the Grand Canyon.

CHEYENNE TIPI CAMP
4 or 6 day camps for adults; children's activities at 3 day weekend camp for all ages.

Learn about the Cheyenne culture and visit historic sites (including the Little Bighorn battle site), whilst staying in tipis on a Cheyenne horse ranch. Spend evenings by the campfire listening to traditional stories. Enjoy HORSE RIDING and NATURE HIKES learning about the wildlife and medicinal plants on the reservation. Children's activities include raising a small tipi (they can sleep in it too!), fishing, horse riding and helping look after the horses.

LAKOTA TIPI CAMPS

A choice of two tipi camps: one on a Lakota family farm on the Pine Ridge Reservation, the other a key element of a community project located on the Cheyenne River Reservation. Both tipi camps have been set up by inspiring Lakota people working hard to achieve sustainable living, community renewal and cultural preservation, through projects combining ancient traditions and modern innovations and technology. LAKOTA B&B'S ON THE PINE RIDGE RESERVATION
